About Us
We are a group of Servas members who would like to invite other Servas members to come to the city of Uppsala and spend a week of varied activities. Of course, everything will be run according to Servas principles of peace, understanding and friendship-building.
History of project
This project is the brain-child of Manda Björling.
Manda attended the Servas get-together in Israel over the Christmas period, 2014. Then in April 2015 Servas Umbria, in Italy, Invited some 50 Servas friends to see and experience some wonderful sites in Umbria. Manda was so inspired by these well-organised programmes and the wonderful hospitality shown by the Israeli and Italian members that she thought we should do something similar.
The idea was put forward to the assembled members at Servas Sweden's annual meeting and the response was so positive that Manda realised that the project could be started in earnest.
